Only the German version of this page is legally binding.
Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR
This privacy policy is a framework: it will undergo final legal review before publication and be completed with the final company details (address, register, VAT ID). It does not replace legal advice.

2. Processing when you visit the website (server logs)
When you access the website, the hosting service processes technically necessary data (including IP address, date and time of access, requested resource, user agent) to deliver the page and to ensure system security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable, secure operation). The website is self-hosted; nothing is outsourced to third-party CDNs, and the page loads no external resources (fonts, scripts, images) from third-party servers.
3. Audience measurement with Plausible (cookieless)
For audience measurement, we use the self-hosted, cookieless analytics software Plausible. Plausible uses no cookies and creates no identifiers that remain recognizable beyond the individual page view; only aggregated statistics that cannot be traced back to individuals are collected. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in designing the website to meet demand). Since no device information within the meaning of § 25 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act) is stored or read beyond what is strictly necessary, our current assessment is that no cookie-banner consent is required; the final legal evaluation will be made as part of the legal review.
4. Contact by email
If you contact us by email (e.g. with a place request to info@extrahorizon.de), we process your details to handle the request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or contract initiation) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way.
5. Payment processing
Payments are processed via the payment provider Mollie (PayPal, credit card, SEPA direct debit, pay by invoice, Apple Pay, Google Pay). The data required for the payment is transmitted to the respective provider. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Integration takes place only during the booking process; the providers' data processing agreements and privacy notices will be added before go-live.
6. Recipients and processors
Personal data is shared only with processors (e.g. hosting, payment providers) on the basis of contracts pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, and where required by law. The complete list of recipients and any third-country transfers will be added before go-live.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). To exercise your rights, an informal message to info@extrahorizon.de is sufficient.
